Onerush Partners with Maximilian Boström – Backing Sweden's Next Racing Star

At Onerush, we don't do things halfway. Our tagline – spänning på riktigt (real thrills) – isn't just a line. It's how we think about everything we do. So when we had the chance to get behind one of Sweden's most exciting young talents in motorsport, it was an easy decision.

We're proud to announce that Onerush is officially sponsoring Maximilian Boström in the 2026 GT4 European Series season.

From go-karts to GT4 – in three years

Maximilian's story doesn't follow the usual script. He only started karting in 2022. By 2025, he'd won the Rotax Max Challenge and taken home the Prins Carl Philips Racing Pokal – Sweden's most prestigious award for young racing talents. Three years from first corner to national recognition. That kind of trajectory doesn't happen by accident.

Now 19 years old and based in Stockholm, Maximilian is making the jump to full-scale car racing in GT4 European Series – the toughest GT4 championship in the world. He'll race for Swedish Toyota outfit Gazoo Racing Sweden, behind the wheel of a Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, sharing duties with 16-year-old British driver Henry Joslyn.

The calendar reads like a bucket list for any motorsport fan: Paul Ricard, Monza, Spa-Francorchamps, Misano, Zandvoort, Portimão. Six rounds. Six legendary venues. One shot to prove himself on the biggest stage.

The Toyota connection – and a shot at Le Mans

Alongside his championship campaign, Maximilian has been selected for GR Customer Racing's Young Driver Academy – Toyota's new international junior programme designed to identify and develop the brand's future factory drivers. Testing sessions on track and at Toyota Racing's facility in Cologne, Germany, will shape the next phase of his career.

The end goal? Le Mans.
